Meet Dr. Lauren E. Teske

"Creating beautiful smiles with functionality and stability in mind is what I am passionate about. As an orthodontist, I am continually fulfilled knowing I am making a positive difference in my patients' lives. I truly enjoy getting to know my younger patients as they grow up, as well as my adult patients who finally took that step to attain the smile of their dreams. I will always strive to give my patients the best care and personal attention they deserve."

Education

Dr. Teske graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College (Milwaukee, WI) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Afterwards, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr Teske held the number 1 ranking in her class throughout her time there, graduating Summa Cum Laude (highest honors). She then completed her Master of Science with a Certificate in Orthodontics at Marquette University. Honors awarded to Dr. Teske include the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Excellence in Academic Achievement Award, the American Association of Orthodontists Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex, and the American Association of Oral Biologists Award for Significant Achievement in and Contribution to Oral Science. She was also chosen to receive the Doctor William S. Kramer Award of Excellence based on scholarship, character, and the potential promise for future advancement of dentistry and service to humanity. Additionally, Dr. Teske has been inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, as well as Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society based on scholarship, loyalty and service.

Continuing Education

Dr. Teske's research has been published in the European Journal of Orthodontics, and she is a member of the American Association for Dental Research. Dr. Teske continues to stay current in the orthodontic literature in order to provide the best care possible to her patients. Dr. Teske also maintains membership in the internationally known Seattle Study Club.

In the Orthodontic Community

Dr. Teske is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, and Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Teske has a passion for helping others and enjoys volunteering at events such as Give Kids a Smile Day and Mission of Mercy. She also devotes her time mentoring students at her alma mater who are interested in pursuing a career in dentistry.

Outside the Office

Dr. Teske moved back to her hometown of Green Bay with her husband, Cameron, who made the move despite the fact he is from Chicago and an enthusiastic Bears fan! They enjoy spending time with their family and friends. Dr. Teske especially loves the outdoors and cheering on the Packers. She also enjoys dogs, volleyball, biking and expanding her culinary skills.
